Fire and Ice
Have you heard about the upcoming self-care event, Fire & Ice, in Ashland City, TN December 7th? I’m facilitating two groups – one at 11:30am and one at 2:45pm. Come love on yourself and make some new friends. This is a financially, fair-access event.
Setting sanctuary time for myself, my soul, and my being are necessary for thriving. After years mysterious internal inflammation, I started cold plunging in July 2023. As a last resort and attempt to reduce my body’s heat, I did what I said I would never do which is intentionally be cold, get cold, go into the cold hoping for a result I so desperately needed.
Cold plunges teach me how far I can stretch emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Let’s face it, looking at a tub full of ice water and willingly getting in and staying in has serious bragging rights and a lot of benefits, too.
While I used my first experience as one of my last efforts to cool my internal systems, I now find the intentional use of regular and consistent cold plunge returns so much more. I get an expansion of my community, a closer inner circle, spiritual experiences, spiritual growth, and the opportunity to expand my window of tolerance.
My intentions for the Fire & Ice event are for us to connect in nature, find solace with each other, and listen to our internal fires of wisdom. We will have a fireside circle and plunge. This is a continuous, spring-fed plunge that holds several people all at once. Surrounded by trees. You get to learn about the plunge benefits, and I will coach you through your experience as you need it. Each person will be supported by the others and each person gets to have their own experience as well as a group experience. Community connects. Nature nurtures. We, collectively, get to choose the outcome of what’s to come.
You are invited into the forest
Where quiet is loud
Be seen by hawk, be still with trees
& flow with ease
Registration is open on my website, in the Let’s Book It tab. To our Veterans, on this Veterans’ Day, thank you for what you have given us. I bow deeply to your courage and willingness.
In gratitude & service,
Jessica
