Journey Together
Wrapping up my beautiful, busy summer is marked in connection with friends and colleagues at the Journey Together Conference (JTC) I’ve worked in the treatment industry since 2013, and missed only one year of JTC since then. I notice the speed at which I have changed, grown, and let go. Like the ouroboros - dying unto itself over and over while simultaneously birthing the new. In a moment captured, the ouroboros seems to be still, unmoved. Yet, over time, the death cycle is what makes room for what’s to come.
In deep devotional commitment the last 12 months, I’ve flourished counseling, writing, painting, and mentoring. Every corner turned flows with abundant love, connection, and curiosity. Since last year’s conference, I’ve learned how limitlessly divine my human spirit is. I walk and live knowing how adored I am. A friend of mine recently reminded me, we are answers to our ancestors prayers. We are the culmination of hopes, dreams, sweat, and tears generations back and back. I find myself walking in a new way now. My heart sensing ancestors’ strengths.
This year, I have two offerings at JTC. The first one is Tuesday, September 3rd 4pm-5:30pm. Sound experienced. Sound is medicinal and sound sessions often have natural bi-products of relaxation, clarity, creativity, and internal calm. The second one is Thursday, September 5th 2pm-3:30pm. This group will be looking inward and playfully engaging while we build a group mandala and discover what treasures will reveal themselves.
AND, I will have some of my acrylic paintings for sale throughout the week. Huge shout out to all my mentors and ice plungers who cheer for me and inspire me as I stretch beyond my edges and do hard things. Thank you to the JTC committee for your effort, love, and time putting our conference together. To clients and clinicians and all those who work with me & beside me - thank you for your courage to be seen, to be heard, and to trust our Heart’s Wisdom.
